SCDL Course Structure:
The Symbiosis Distance Learning PGDBA programme is divided into four semesters. The first and second semesters consist of five subjects each, while the third and fourth semesters will have only four and three subjects, respectively. The first two semesters are the common semesters for all students; the specialisation will be followed in the last two semesters, which will be selected by students.
In third and fourth semesters, students learn subjects as per their specialization course.
Following is the course structure of Symbiosis distance MBA (PGDBA) program.
For semester 1, the subjects are: Principles and Practices of Management, Business Law, Management Accounting, Managerial Economics, and Organisational Behaviour.
For semester 2, the subjects are: production or operations management, management information systems, human resource management, financial management, and marketing management. For semester 3 and semester 4, students will have specific compulsory subjects from semester 1 and semester 2 along with their specialisation subjects.
After successfully completing all four semesters of the respective course, students will be awarded a postgraduate diploma in business administration.
